Ingredients
- 2lbs of ground beef
- 1.5 TBSP of Smoke Dat Butt Seasoning & Rub
- 1/2 tsp of oregano
- 1/4 cup of chili powder
- 1.5 tsp of cumin
- 8oz of Most Excellent Bloody Mary Mix Ever
- 1 jar of Fire Roasted Salsa or Black Bean & Corn Medium Salsa
- 6oz of water
- 2 TSBP of masa
Instructions
- Brown the beef in a large pot or Dutch oven and drain off any excess liquid or fat.
- Add the spices and stir thoroughly before adding the Most Excellent Bloody Mary Mix, salsa, and water, stirring to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a boil then reduce the heat to a simmer. Simmer for 30 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine masa and a bit of hot water and stir until smooth. Add this mixture into the chili to help it thicken.
- Once the chili has reached the desired consistency, remove from heat, add all of your favorite toppings, and enjoy!
