Ingredients
- 1 Whole Trimmed Brisket
- 1 Bottle of Flavor of New Orleans Marinade
- 1 Cup of Brisket Rub
- 1 Bottle of Honey Chipotle Rum BBQ
- Seasoning binder of your choice. Mustard is recommended.
Instructions
- Add the trimmed brisket and Flavor of New Orleans Marinade to a non reactive container. Keep covered in the fridge for at least 6 hours but marinade for 12-24 hours for best results.
- Remove the trimmed brisket and pat dry after at least 6 hours.
- Apply a thin layer of your chosen binder to the entire brisket. Generously apply the Brisket Rub to the brisket and ensure even coating across the whole cut.
- Smoke, grill or bake your brisket to your desiered doneness using your preferred method. For best results, smoke your brisket low and slow.
- For the final hour of cooking, apply your Honey Chipotle Rum BBQ to your brisket and wrap in foil or butcher paper. For best results, add 1/4 a cup of brisket drippings to the bbq sauce.
- Unwrap and enjoy!
